Halloween events happening in south west London this autumn

Published: 14/10/2025 By Loney Miller

It is that time of year when the pumpkins are carved, the skeletons are out of the closet, and we all enjoy a fright or two. In south west London, there are lots of events coming up that are perfect for getting in the spooky spirit. From the perfect places for children to enjoy the magic, to adults-only events for the grown-up Halloween-enthusiasts that love to dress up, we’ve collated a range of our favourite events happening in and around Southfields.

Tir Na Nog Halloween fundraiser

⏰Friday, October 31st - 6:30pm - late
📍Tir Na Nog, 107 Garratt Lane, Wandsworth, SW18 4DW
🎟️Kids free, adults £3

Give something back while enjoying the Halloween fun and spend your evening with the family at Tir Na Nog’s fundraiser for Aplastic Anaemia, a rare blood disorder.

There is something for everyone here, with children allowed to attend until 9 pm and adults able to party into the night. The event is hosting a best costume competition with prizes for kids and adults, alongside entertainment, games, a raffle, and food and drinks for you to enjoy.

Halloween pumpkin hunt on the Common

⏰Sunday, 26th October - 11 am - 4 pm
📍Starting opposite the Windmill, Windmill Road, Wimbledon Common, SW19
🎟️£3 per entry

Wimbledon Common is home to many great events in the area, and its pumpkin hunt is no exception. This spooky spectacular will include a Halloween-themed treasure trail, which is perfect for the little ones to kick off the celebrations.

That isn’t all they’ve got to offer, with a day filled with fun activities such as reptile events to get the adrenaline spiked, face painting for a fright and a friendly colouring competition to top it off. This is a wonderful family-friendly event that is a must-go for locals and visitors alike.

Funky Cheeky Monkeys’ spooktacular music session

⏰Friday, October 31st - 2:30 pm onwards
📍Southfields Library, 300 Wimbledon Park Road, SW19 6NL
🎟️Free entry

This event by Funky Cheeky Monkeys is the perfect daytime event for the younger children in our community, recommended for those aged 0-4 years old. Here they can take part in singing, dancing, playing instruments and more, all in their Halloween costumes.

It couldn’t be easier to get involved, at this event there is no booking required, so you can just pop in and enjoy the frightening fun. We think this could be the perfect pre-event before going trick or treating around Southfields.

Halloween dance, science and art party

⏰Saturday, 25th October - 10am - 11:45am
📍St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, 90 Oakhill Road, SW15 2QD
🎟️£15 per child

If you’re looking for something special for your children this Halloween, this is the ultimate party. Hosted by Erika Menniti’s dance school, your child, 4-11 years old, can see the magic come to life with a variety of spooky-themed activities available.

They definitely won’t run out of things to do here, with magical fun ranging from Halloween dances, making monster slime, spinning a spider web, mixing a magic potion, running a costume parade and taking part in arts and crafts. We think this one is certain to tire the little ones out! Each child will also receive a surprise gift to make their day that extra bit special.

Halloween at Wimbledon Quarter

⏰Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th October - 11 am - 4 pm
📍Wimbledon Quarter, 4 Queens Road, SW19 8ND
🎟️Saturday: Free entry, Sunday: £10 per session (including your pumpkin to take home)

Join in on a weekend of Halloween fun at Wimbledon Quarter. This local event’s itinerary is the perfect way for every child to enjoy something new.

On Saturday, they will be doing free arts and crafts activities where your children can just drop in and create their own Halloween characters such as witches, vampires and Frankenstein Monsters that they can take home with them.

On Sunday, there are a variety of one hour slots available to enjoy painting a pumpkin, passing the pumpkin and learning the time warp dance. Each child has to be accompanied by an adult, so this is a great one to spend time as a family.

Beyond 30 Halloween day party

⏰Saturday, 25th October - 4 pm - 9 pm
📍Tunnel 267, 263 The Broadway, SW19 1SD
🎟️Tickets start at £12.50

Get dressed up in your best fancy dress, grab your friends and head on down for a blast from the past. The best news is this is a daytime club event, so you don’t even need to miss out on the trick or treating. This one could be frightfully fun…

This event is for those 30+, so make sure to dig those IDs out and boogie away!

We hope you all have a wonderfully wicked Halloween and half term, and enjoy some of the events local businesses have to offer.
